Jackie Fry

I was born in King’s Lynn, attended Alderman Catleugh Girls School (now Springwood High School). I've lived in the Borough all my life. I was Project Manager for the Hillington Square Regeneration Project, a regeneration of social housing built in the 60’s following slum clearance. An Estate with
similar perceived reputation for anti-social behaviours as Fairstead, which was built for London overspill. I left Freebridge in 2020 to look at new challenges and have been working at the QEH on various refurbishment projects, including NICU, Multi Faith Room, Gym and SDEC.
I don’t back away from a challenge and take pride in my work. Prior to working at Freebridge, I worked for County Council in Children’s Services, and British Telecom.
I believe in work opportunities for local people, and local people having a say in their communities. No one knows West Norfolk betterthan those that live here.
